Wellbeing-based care programs
We have exceptional daycare options whether your dog is nervous of others, reactive towards others, or totally comfortable in group play. We offer daycare seven days a week: 5:30 a.m. - 9 pm weekdays, 7:30 am - 7 pm Saturday and Sunday.
Monday through Friday 5:30 am - 9 am; 11:30 am - 12:15 pm; 3 pm - 9 pm.
Weekends 7:30 am - 10 am and 4 pm - 7 pm.
Trained attendants engage with and guide our play groups and make sure everyone is having their best day. Our first-day assessment done by our trainers lets us know which play group and play program is best suited for your pup.
We do daycare differently. We give your dog the best day by caring for not just their physical well being, but also their mental, emotional and psychological well being. We create intentional play groups tailored to each guest and have a play schedule that mixes physical fun and exercise with necessary rest time and alone time to re-energize, process all the activity and busyness, and let them recharge for the next play session.

We use redirection, distraction and interruption to manage play groups and our attendants carefully read body language and engage with our play groups.
We let dogs bark. As long as it isn't rude toward another, we let dogs talk. We don't use spray bottles to punish and never will pin a dog or do other aversive techniques to dominate.
Dog Daycare Play Groups
Leduc's only dog daycare with indoor/outdoor play areas!
This group is for our bigs who are comfortable in social groups! We divide each group by play style and temperament as well, so your dog has a small group (we aim for 10 dogs in a group) that matches them, so they can really enjoy their day.
Regular indoor/outdoor access, climbing structures, outdoor pools in summer, and lots of fun and friends is what your pup will find here.
This group is perfect for our middles who are comfortable in social groups.
We'll often place our medium and large-breed puppies in this group to learn good play manners from others and gain exposure to a variety of others.
They'll have a blast in the indoor/outdoor play area.
For our littles and our puppies, we have our littles area just for our smaller dogs and our puppies. It's a safe, fun and diverse group that helps our puppies learn good play manners from older dogs and which lets our littles stay clear of big bodies.
For guests that aren't comfortable with others or suited for social group, we have our enrichment areas.
Our enrichment areas allow us to control the exposure to other dogs. From complete privacy with no visual stimulation to a private area with visual experiences of other dogs and ability to interact safely through a fence, we personalize the day and stay to your dog.
This is for the teeniest of the tiny and the smallest of the small. A safe and cozy play area tailored to exactly what our little guests love.
Since we do such personalized care and have multiple play areas, we accept intact dogs and assess their suitability for social group on a case-by-case basis.
To ensure we create the safest play space for all guests, intact guests may only be placed with altered guests, may be alternated in our private enrichment program, or may be provided with additional rest periods to ensure the best day for all. Our priority is always the safety of all.
We care about the health and safety of your dog
All dogs checking into Paws Pet Pad must be in good health, not exposed to nor had any contagious diseases for 30 days prior to their visit, and must be up-to-date on all of their required vaccinations or present a current titre test showing immunity
