Get help with all your puppy questions and learn all the behaviour training and obedience basics you want as your puppy grows older.
BECOME A TEAM
This important beginner course will focus on training you and your dog to become a team. You'll learn the vital part of being a responsible owner and how your decisions now set the foundation for their future.
This class will equip you with practical, useful skills. You and your dog will learn sit, down, stay, come, and many more useful commands.
You will also practice turns and movement with loose leash walking as well as “take it” and “leave it”. These basic commands are the foundation of a solid, positive relationship between you and your dog and will help you get the most enjoyment out of life with your dog.
By the end of this course, you and your dog will be able to demonstrate various behaviours including:
• Name recognition
• Sit
• Down
• Place
• Massage
• Collar handling
• Leave it
• Drop it
• Stay (sit & down)
• Recall
• Loose-leash walking
• Proper socialization skills, and how to meet other dogs and new things in the environment
• Impulse control and why it is important
• How to handle normal puppy behaviors such as biting, jumping, house training, kennel training, barking
• important fear periods of puppyhood

Tanisha is the founder of non-profit Education not Euthanization and a passionate trainer.
Tanisha is currently completing her hands-on mentorship through renowned trainer Bilinda Wagner's trainer certification program. She is working toward her CPDT-KA certification
